Psychotherapy vs. Consulting

For historic, political, and legal reasons listed under the ‘Law and Ethics’ page on this website, the services at Concierge Mental Health (CMH) are largely referred to as consulting, rather than psychotherapy. While CMH consulting services draw from traditional, evidence-based modalities of psychotherapy including cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, existential, narrative, and somatic approaches, the scope of treatments offered at CMH extends beyond traditional Western approaches, and the delivery of support is not limited by geographic location.

Retainer Packages

Monthly, Quarterly, & Annual Retainer Packages typically consist of 12 pre-booked sessions at 80% of the cost of an individual session. Clients on retainer have access to case management (CM), emergency, off-hours, and/or on-site (EOO) support, as well as add-on consultations at the cost of single consultations.

Concierge Mental Health (CMH) was founded by a Public Health Scholar with an extensive background in community mental health work with underprivileged populations. This treatment incorporates elements of evidence-based Eastern indigenous approaches for treating physical and mental conditions including cerebral palsy, symptoms of schizophrenia, anxiety, stress, body stiffness, and medically inexplicable somatic symptoms. Note: Every service may come with an added service charge that is entirely subject to the individual, nuanced complexities and challenges presented by every individual’s situation or case. For instance, if a retainer client’s case raises particular concerns that require for added communication with clients’ support networks, security services, hospital providers, or out-of-session support, clients will be billed for this service. Retainer clients provide a credit card at the beginning of service, which is held on file and billed after sessions are scheduled, whether or not clients show up or appear to their session.

In-Network CMH Support

For individuals, couples, and families. Services include both in-house care and referrals for mental and emotional needs, coping strategies for approaching life challenges and stressors, and support for the achievement of goals related to personal development, educational growth, mood regulation, relational well-being, artistic and literary creation. People with extensive needs associated with recent hospitalization discharges, hospice care, and major life transitions may sign up for concierge support. This option includes access to 24/7 communication over email/text exchanges at $2.5/min. Concierge support includes on-site visits, access to support over text/email, and the option to add time to sessions, depending upon individual needs; Inquire for rates.

Single consultations: $150/50 min session

We prioritize the ability to serve members of our established network of psychiatric, psychological, and other mental health providers. Access to support at this rate is highly limited, and must come from a current Network Member. CMH Case Management

Time spent discussing client well-being and progress management with members of their selected collaborative care teams, which may include but are not limited to psychiatric, psychological, medical, professional & education providers, family members, partner(s), and friends. Time is billed to clients directly unless support is exclusively requested from any member(s) of client-selected collaborative care networks. In the latter case, service fees will be billed to the Individual(s) who initiated contact with CMH providers. Clients retain the right to relinquish permission to communicate with any members of their collaborative care networks at any time, but providers are not liable for any information shared or discussed during the period during which they were provided permission to consult collaboratively with client-selected individuals.

Important Notes

Concierge Mental Health was founded Dr. Anna Yu Lee, a public health specialist, educator, and mental health consultant, not a clinical or counseling therapist. Dr. Yu Lee personally works with a highly limited number of clients, primarily female-identifying students and working professionals aged 18-38. Concierge Mental Health (CMH) is operated out of pet-friendly spaces, and is unable to accommodate people with aversions or allergies to animals of any species or temperaments. Per cultural and sanitation-related reasons, all in-person clients and guests are kindly asked to remove shoes upon arrival at any CMH-designated office spaces.
